Town highlights:
Haverhill: North Haverhill is home to Windy Ridge Orchard and Christmas Tree Farm, in the summer and fall pick apples, blueberries, pumpkins and more. Bedell Bridge State Park is also a wonderful place to visit for fishing, picnicking and canoeing. If you’re here in the Summer, don’t forget to visit the Haverhill Fair!
Lisbon: Lisbon is known for their Lilac Festival each year in the spring, with music, parades, artists, vendors and of course Lilacs! If you like tennis, squash or swimming visit Evergreen Sports Center, open year round!
Bath: While in Bath visit the Bath-Haverhill Bridge, the oldest documented covered bridge in the country still standing. Don’t forget to stop at The Brick Store while in town, the oldest continually run general store in America. Bath is also home to Swiftwater Bridge, with a popular swimming hole below the bridge in the brisk waters of the Wild Ammonoosuc River.
Warren: The Gentle Giant, Mt. Moosilauke is located in Warren, Benton and No. Woodstock. Moosilauke has been climbed by locals for nearly 300 years! The Summit is bare and has a 360 degree view of the rest of the Whites, Vermont and, on a clear day, the Adirondacks.
Piermont: Piermont is home to Lake Tarleton; this undeveloped park is easy to get to in Route 25C and offers an unguarded swimming beach and boat launch for canoeing or kayaking.
