Located in the northern tip of New Hampshire is a rural 16 bed not-for-profit critical access hospital (CAH) called the Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital (UCVH). The name refers to the headwaters of the Connecticut River that is part of the 850 square-mile service area of the hospital, which includes 20 towns and 8,500 people in New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine. This hospital, though small, is confident in its mission to improve the well-being of the rural communities served by promoting health and assuring access to quality care. In providing the following continuum of services, UCVH sees itself as a primary health care resource center for the northern tri-state area.
